Design is about the process of simplification. Simplification doesn’t mean mere removal; it’s about distilling the essence of a complex or abstract problem. It adheres to first principles, challenging the existence of the status quo to uncover what is truly necessary and essential. Simplification is also intertwined with a sense of craft. What remains essential must be intentional. Every detail and moment of the design must be considered and crafted with purpose.
